Entering 2012, the numbers were already clear. Last year saw a 40-fold increase in users of over six months, climaxing in December with 11 million visits in a single week. By the end of January, Pinterest was driving more referral traffic than Google+, YouTube and LinkedIn combined. Oh, and those users? — an overwhelming presence of women in the 25-44 age bracket.
